The short version: Looking only works if people feel safe using it. Here's what we expect from everyone.
Use real, current photos of yourself. Don't use someone else's photos, old photos that don't look like you anymore, or misleading information about who you are.
Selfies exchanged before meeting up are meant to confirm you're a real person, not an invitation to send explicit or inappropriate images. Anyone can report this immediately, and we take it seriously.
If someone passes on meeting you, doesn't respond, or ends things, that's the end of it. No pressuring, no guilt-tripping, no repeated attempts to change their mind.
Threatening, abusive, or harassing behavior toward anyone on Looking, whether you've matched with them or not, isn't tolerated.
Looking is built around real meetups. If you match and agree to meet, follow through. Repeatedly ghosting confirmed meetups affects how the app works for you and for others.
Meet in public. Tell a friend where you're going. Trust your gut, if something feels off, you can leave at any time, no explanation needed.
If someone violates these guidelines, use the report option in the app. Reports are reviewed, and in some cases we're required to retain evidence and involve legal authorities.
Violations may result in: a warning, a permanent ban, or in serious cases, information being retained and shared with law enforcement as required by law.
